Full job description
Support Center - Irving
Responsible for all aspects of new store construction, including oversight of design, scheduling and construction issues. Responsibilities also can include downsizing, expansions and remodels. Manage construction quality and project turnover to ensure new store openings are on schedule and within budget constraints.
Major Activities
- Manage the construction of new store projects both administratively and by numerous site visits to ensure proper building construction.
- Verify substantial completion of projects as per Lease requirements.
- Conduct plan review for corrections and accuracy to prototype.
- Construction consultation and coordination with MSI Real Estate Directors, lease review/legal, architects, landlords, contractors and national account vendors.
- Oversee competitive bidding process for direct contracts, overall project budget review, personal expense reports, consultation with MSI Construction Coordinator .
Minimum Education
- College Degree
Minimum Type of experience the job requires
- 2 years management and business experience including previous construction training, knowledge of architectural drawings and standards
Preferred Education
- College Degree in Architectural or construction management or related field
