The Banquet Set-Up Position is a Banquet Houseperson position for our Events team. You'll be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, including tables, chairs, and water stations. Strong communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage physical tasks are key to success in this role.

This hands-on position offers a dynamic workday and the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team, directly impacting the guest experience.

The hourly pay for this position is $17.00, with the opportunity to earn Service Charges. This is the pay rate Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications:

  • Physical Stamina : Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing moderate to heavy weights as required for event setups and breakdowns.

  • Attention to Detail : Able to read and interpret floor plans and event instructions, ensuring accuracy in setup and execution.

  • Strong Communication : Follow verbal directions from managers and supervisors with ease and clarity, ensuring smooth event operations.

  • Flexible Availability : Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of event timelines.
