Full job description

As a Quick Response CNA (STNA) serving Greater Cleveland , you will be a vital part of our Even More Care program, providing urgent support during active stages of dying. You will serve as the steady presence families can count on, responding quickly to evolving physical or emotional needs. STNA/ CNA Qualifications:

  • Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification.

  • Must be certified by the state as a nurse's aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification.

  • 3-6 months of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide required.

  • Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.

  • Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.

  • Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.

  • Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.

STNA/ CNA Schedule & Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

  • Travel to the office in Valley View, Ohio is required. Serving patients throughout Lorain, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Ashtabula, and Trumbull Counties.
