Collaborates with other departments to support overall business objectives and customer satisfaction. Other duties as assigned. Utilizes technology and software systems to streamline inventory and supply chain processes. Trains and supervises staff involved in inventory and supply chain operations. Prepares and presents reports on inventory and supply chain performance to senior management. Implements and enforces safety and regulatory compliance standards within the supply chain. Develops and implements inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs. Oversees the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Manages warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Coordinates with production and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly. Monitors inventory levels and conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Analyzes supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and have crucial conversations with team members, and supervise staff in a timely, effective and respectful manner, to achieve department and Company objectives [Required]
  • Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, in a fast-paced environment [Required]
  • Ability to work under stress and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously [Required]
  • Knowledge of inventory control concepts, order sheets, point-of-use applications, and par optimization methodologies [Required]
  • Computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel [Required]
  • Knowledge of perioperative rules and guidelines pertaining to clean supply storage rules, including clean environments such as Surgical Services [Required]
  • Ability to demonstrate related acumen [Required]
  • Materials Management Host System(s) [Preferred]
  • Point-of-Use application(s) [Preferred]
  • Materials or supply chain management processes [Preferred]

Education:

  • Associate [Required]
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or related field

Work Experience:

  • 1+ previous management experience [Required]
  • 3+ materials management or supply chain experience [Required]
  • Experienced in Lean Process Improvement methodologies and application to supply chain management [Preferred]
  • SurgiNet/Cerner experience [Preferred]
