Full job description

Description We are looking for a Business Analytics/Data Analyst to join a growing team in Louisville, Colorado on a Long-term Contract assignment. This position centers on improving data quality across item records, purchasing information, and inventory-related documentation while partnering with technical stakeholders to ensure accurate and usable data. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, advanced Excel skills, and the confidence to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing-focused environment. This role begins onsite and may shift to a hybrid arrangement after the initial onboarding period.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, update, and govern item master data within NetSuite to support accurate operational reporting and downstream processes.

  • Partner with engineering and other technical teams to collect product details and convert complex information into structured system records.

  • Examine procurement and purchasing datasets to identify inconsistencies, resolve errors, and improve data reliability.

  • Evaluate historical buying trends and related reports to support analysis, record validation, and decision-making.

  • Standardize inventory and material data by correcting legacy issues and aligning records with current naming and classification practices.

  • Map supplier identifiers to corresponding manufacturer part numbers to improve traceability and record accuracy.

  • Contribute to purchase requisition process support, including activities tied to workflow readiness and adoption within NetSuite.

  • Assist with bills of materials and product lifecycle data activities to maintain consistency across manufacturing-related systems.

  • Serve as a dependable resource for internal teams by answering data questions and helping maintain high-volume records with precision. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or master data management roles.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data sorting, filtering, text-to-columns, formula use, and analytical reporting.

  • Experience working with NetSuite and managing structured records in ERP or related business systems.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle repetitive, high-volume data tasks accurately.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and ramp up quickly with limited training.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with technical stakeholders across teams.

  • Background in manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, or manufactured products environments.

  • Familiarity with bills of materials, purchase requisitions, product lifecycle management, Microsoft SQL, or business intelligence tools is preferred.
