Full job description
The mission of the Sabine River Authority is to enhance the lives of every resident of Toledo Bend by working together with all stakeholders to provide a better quality of life and a healthy atmosphere for growth and development- in three words, “Progress through Unity”.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: The MEO 1 Heavy operates large and small equipment needed for levee maintenance and repairs, performs manual maintenance and repairs to buildings, equipment, and systems.Two years of experience in mobile equipment operations.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here. Job Duties:

Operates mobile equipment such as the following: Excavator, Backhoe, Front-End Loader, Bulldozer, Motor Grader, Dump Trucks, Zero Turn Mowers,etc.

Assists the mechanic in repair and maintenance of equipment.

Performs groundskeeping.

Performs miscellaneous repairs including cutting and general carpentry, facilities, and equipment.
Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational Work Schedule: Work hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
