We currently have the opportunity for a Mobile Lube Technician to join our team. This position will be supporting our various jobs throughout Montana so travel is required. When not assisting our highway crews you will be utilized in our local operations in Kalispell, MT.
Key Functions
-
Servicing, fueling and greasing equipment
-
Ability to do small repairs in the field
-
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks efficiently
-
Work with other members of the maintenance shop to provide assistance when needed
-
Accurately record meter readings and equipment hours
Qualifications
-
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working around construction equipment preferred
-
Class A CDL required
-
Hazmat endorsement required
Specific Skills
-
Must be able to perform basic mechanical functions
-
Knowledge on Heavy Equipment preferred
-
Basic knowledge on operating heavy equipment, willing to train
-
Work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations
-
Effective communication, interpersonal and time management skills

Positive Attitude
-
Team oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary

Self-motivated
-
Ability to troubleshoot
-
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
-
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. regularly
-
Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement
-
Sit and/or stand for long periods of time
-
Reach with hands and arms
-
Bend at the waist, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
-
Climb ladders/steps
-
Continuous use of hand tools for extended periods of time
-
Walk varying distances and on uneven surfaces at times
-
Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, and vibrations
Compensation

Hourly rate of pay based on experience
-
Prevailing Wage will apply for this role during the summer and fall months
-
Daily Per Diem Paid- when out of the Flathead Valley
-

Years 2 & 3 – Employer covers 90% of total (family) premiums

Years 4 or more - Employer covers 100% of total (family) premiums
