Director of Care Services
HomeWell Care Services – Treasure Valley | Boise / Meridian | Full-Time
Ready to Run Something?
HomeWell Care Services is looking for an owner-minded, relationship-driven leader to help run our growing home care agency.
You'll work alongside our Director of Operations as two peer leaders responsible for the agency day to day. Both report to ownership and have significant autonomy.
You'll own our clients, caregivers, scheduling and community relationships.
We're not looking for someone who simply completes assigned tasks. We want someone who sees what needs to happen, makes decisions and takes responsibility for the result.
What You'll Own
Clients & Care
-
Conduct assessments and develop care plans
-
Lead client starts, visits and reassessments
-
Build trusted relationships with clients and families
-
Own client satisfaction, retention and quality of care
Scheduling & Caregivers
-
Own the caregiver schedule from end to end
-
Match the right caregivers with the right clients
-
Solve call-outs and coverage problems
-
Protect scheduled hours and continuity of care
-
Coach caregivers and address performance concerns
-
Anticipate staffing needs as we grow
Community Relationships & Growth
-
Become a trusted face of HomeWell throughout the Treasure Valley
-
Build genuine relationships with senior communities, healthcare providers, social workers, case managers, veteran resources and other referral partners
-
Regularly visit and follow up with community partners
-
Represent HomeWell at community and professional events
-
Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and grow the agency
This isn't about delivering a scripted sales pitch. It's about becoming someone community partners know, trust and call when a family needs help.
We Need an Operator
If a shift is uncovered, you start solving it.
If a client is unhappy, you address it.
If a caregiver isn't performing, you handle it.
If hours are being lost, you figure out why.
If you haven't connected with community partners lately, you get out of the office.
We'll give you room to run. We expect you to own the outcome.
You May Be Our Person If...
-
You naturally take ownership without constant direction
-
You're highly organized and stay calm when plans change
-
You make decisions and solve problems
-
You're warm and confident with clients and families
-
You can hold people accountable while maintaining strong relationships
-
You genuinely enjoy meeting people and developing professional relationships
-
You're comfortable walking into a new organization, introducing yourself and building a connection
-
You care about the numbers as well as the people
-
You want autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to build something
Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, staffing or another people-intensive service business is strongly preferred. Leadership, scheduling and relationship-development experience are particularly valuable.
We're hiring for ownership, judgment and leadership—not just the right résumé.
Compensation That Grows With the Business
This isn't a traditional fixed-salary management position.
The starting base reflects the current size of our growing agency. From there, compensation includes automatic salary increases at defined agency growth milestones, profit sharing and benefits.
These aren't vague promises about future raises. We'll show you the compensation path and the objective milestones that trigger each increase.
We want the person helping build this agency to participate financially in the success they help create.
If your priority is maximizing guaranteed salary on day one, this probably isn't the right opportunity.
If you're excited about helping run and grow a business—and sharing in that growth—we should talk.
How We Operate
Do what you say. Own the outcome. Communicate early. Build real connections. Find a way to yes.
The Opportunity
We're building an agency where great leaders have the authority and accountability to run it well without ownership being involved in every decision.
You won't be one small piece of a large organization. You'll be one of two directors helping run a growing local business.
We don't want to micromanage you. We want to be able to trust you with the care side of the agency and hear: “I've got it.”
