Equipment Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift

Friday - Sunday 6:30am to 7:00pm

Perform maintenance work to ensure equipment is fully operational and develop maintenance programs.

Our Facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace and Defense applications.

Job Summary

  • Repair and perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of facility production equipment

  • Audit and provide direction when necessary to personnel conducting maintenance activities in the machine shop and box-build areas

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of the next generation equipment maintenance program encompassing the entire manufacturing operation

  • Work closely with Operational Excellence personnel to ensure the maintenance program aligns with the lean deployment effort

  • Develop maintenance training programs and deliver the training as required.

  • Coordinate the efforts of the machine operators and maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with the established maintenance program

  • Generate and maintain maintenance documentation and schedules electronically, following appropriate ISO procedures for all critical equipment

  • Adhere to the General Requirements of Team Members

  • Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.

  • Perform other assignments as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience using hand soldering and wiring tools

  • Experience using standard electronic test equipment (V.O.M., Oscilloscope, D.V.M., etc.) and related test equipment

  • Ability to fulfill scheduled and unscheduled overtime requirements to maintain factory uptime

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for off-site training

  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits and ability to read electrical schematics and equipment manuals

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications, including Outlook, and Excel

  • Ability to work with database management software

  • Abilities listed in the General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience and Education

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in equipment maintenance, including experience working with SMT placement lines and wave solder machines.
