🌟 Budget & Accounting Analyst | Prestigious Organization | NYC

We're partnering with a highly prestigious and well-established organization to hire a Budget & Accounting Analyst to support the Finance Manager and retail branch operations across the New York City area.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career accounting or finance professional looking to gain hands-on experience across budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, and client service while working within a highly respected organization.

They are in the office 5x days a week in NYC.

As always, these are permanent, full time, fully benefited salaried positions (these are NOT temp, or temp to perm).

Compensation is based on experience:

The range is between $65 - $80k base

What You'll Do:

✅ Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for multiple retail branch locations

✅ Assist with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes

✅ Process and monitor AP/AR transactions

✅ Perform variance analysis and provide insights into branch financial performance

✅ Partner with branch leadership and key stakeholders across the business

✅ Serve as a client-facing resource, interacting with both internal and external partners

✅ Gain exposure to the broader Corporate Finance and Accounting team in NYC, providing visibility into larger-scale financial operations and career growth opportunities

What We're Looking For:

✔ 1+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related experience

✔ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills

✔ Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

✔ Ability to work effectively with both internal and external clients

✔ Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting or ERP systems is a plus

Exceptional communications skills are required. A great dynamic personality and the ability to work along your fellow colleagues is crucial.
