Full job description

Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Production Supervisor in Leeds, AL. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering weekly pay and a chance to expand your experience. What’s in this position for you?

  • Pay: $ 35.00/hr

  • Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday (1:00pm – 9:30pm)

Job Description :

Oversee daily production processes as well as supervise hourly employees while pursuing continuous improvement in areas such productivity increases, improving effectivity while minimizing cost.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Build strong cross-functional and collaborative relationships with vendors and internal

  • Lead production teams that are focused on safety, quality, service, and productivity levels within budgetary guidelines.

  • Direct team leads to guide, direct, and assign work to their fellow employees and maintain records as necessary.

  • Ensure hourly workforce is properly trained with tools to succeed.

  • Handle interpersonal aspects of the job including disciplinary activity, coordination with other supervisors, work rule enforcement, and labor relations.

  • Maintenance of data and reports related to the supervised area using Microsoft applications such as Excel and Access.

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • High School Diploma/GED, Bachelors degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or related environment

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience

  • Excellent written, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with ISO 9001 QMS preferred

  • Experience with SAP preferred

Pay Details: $35.00 per hour
