Full job description

Position Summary

This position is an entry -level Accounts Payable Position responsible for supporting the Corporate Accounts Payable functions with accurate and timely processing of all Accounts Payable transactional documents. This position will process accounts payable transactions 90% of the time while processing an average of 150 invoices daily with a 95% accuracy rate. This position will focus on processing these transactional documents in accordance with company/departmental policies and procedures.

Position Details

  • Process routine Accounts Payable invoices including two/three-way match and overhead invoices while following departmental standard operating procedures.

  • Review invoices for completeness and ensure required documentation and approvals are obtained.

  • Process invoice information accurately into the Company’s ERP and any other accounts payable systems.

  • Route invoices accurately for approval.

  • Assist with other accounts payable workload, when needed.

  • Follow established internal controls, accounting policies and departments’ standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • Basic understanding of full cycle accounts payable

  • Willingness to learn quickly, ask questions when unsure, and have a desire to grow within the department.

  • One to three years of Accounts Payable experience, including one year in a full cycle accounts payable environment.

  • Strong organization skills with high level of attention to detail

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

  • Team players that work well with other team members to achieve departmental goals and service level expectations.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to learn multiple accounting systems quickly

  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, fraud prevention procedures, and accounting standards

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Washington this ranges from $25.00 - $28.00/hour plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.

Contingent Employment: All employment offers are contingent upon successful drug tests, background checks, and professional reference checks. Roles that include driving as an essential job duty will be required to have a successful Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR). We are not able to offer sponsorship of employment at this time.
