About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Executive, Quality Management Department at Naval Hospital Guam, in Agana, Guam. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

• Provide consultation, ongoing review, and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
• Provide advice on credentialing and privileging issues and management of the CCQAS and PCFs.
• Monitor the preparation of agendas and minutes for credentialing meetings and ensures that all participants involved are notified of meeting times to be prepared for committee action.
• Define and monitor various metrics associated with the credentials and privileging processes such as number of providers with valid license, valid BLS, National Provider Identification or federal fee waved Drug Enforcement Administration license.
• Oversee the collection and tracking of compliance with the annual provider peer review profiling requirement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing the day-to-day operations of health care delivery services; assisting with modifications/improvements of clinic policies and procedures; and planning budget personnel staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph. D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
