Full job description
REMOTE PART-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE
Special Education Due Process Specialist District-wide Up to 12 hours per week $39 - $41 per hour based on casual salary schedule Not benefits eligible
PRIMARY FUNCTION Support due process including writing IEPs in collaboration with teachers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reports to appropriate special education supervisory staff and principals.
- Participates as a member of the student assistance and special education teams.
- Supports due process for special education programs.
- Confers with school staff regarding the educational, emotional, social and behavioral needs of students.
- Participates in building team meetings on a regular basis and maintains appropriate records for special education due process procedures.
- Other duties as assigned from special education supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Special Education license
- At least five years of experience as a special education teacher
