It is an entry-level engineering program consisting of rotational assignments, technical training, and accelerating your professional development. Essential Responsibilities:
As a GE Vernova Edison Engineering Development Program member, you will:

Work on impactful, technically-challenging projects in the power generation industry during four 6-month rotations in a variety of disciplines, including Design, Analysis, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test

Enhance core engineering skills through Advanced Courses in Engineering and Business leadership training attended alongside other GE Vernova program members from other functions and locations
-
Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers
-
Participate in development training with other GE Vernova Development program members from other functions and locations
-
Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering (if entering with a BS)

Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Engineering majors stated below from an ABET accredited university

Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0

Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing

Greenville, SC, Schenectady NY are potential locations for first year. Other select locations inside the US are available in the second year of the program, Atlanta, GA and Houston, TX

Graduation dates: December 2026 or May/June 2027

Degrees: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Controls Engineering, Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other Energy Engineering related majors will be considered
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $85,000 for Bachelors and $86,000 for Masters degree. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: 5% Discretionary annual bonus
Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage; access to Health Coach from GE Vernova, a 24/7 nurse-based resource; and access to the Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services. Retirement benefits include the GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan, a tax-advantaged 401(k) savings opportunity with company matching contributions and company retirement contributions, as well as access to Fidelity resources and financial planning consultants. Other benefits include tuition assistance, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, disability benefits, life insurance, 12 paid holidays, and permissive time off.
