About the Role

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that fresh floral products meet DVFG’s quality standards before distribution. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction by partnering with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and Product Management to maintain product quality throughout the supply chain.

What You'll Do

• Inspect fresh floral products daily to verify quality, freshness, and compliance with company standards before shipment.

• Partner with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, and Product Management to identify, communicate, and resolve product quality concerns.

• Respond to product quality inquiries and support issue resolution, including Salesforce cases and supplier credit requests.

• Maintain accurate inventory by processing quality-related inventory adjustments in Apprise ERP.

• Provide product allocation updates and quality information to Sales and Central Desk teams.

• Support warehouse teams by reinforcing proper product handling practices and providing quality guidance and training.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through cross-functional collaboration and cross-training.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works primarily in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment maintained at approximately 34°F–36°F.

This role requires the ability to:

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.

• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Use warehouse equipment and tools, including RF scanners, pallet jacks, box cutters, and select powered equipment.

• Wear and operate a wrist-mounted RF scanning device.

• Demonstrate sufficient visual acuity for close vision, distance vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

• Communicate effectively in person and by phone.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
