Position Overview
The Director, Corporate Facilities is responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, and oversight of facilities operations across corporate offices and distribution centers. This role leads the development and execution of preventative maintenance programs, repair and capital replacement initiatives, and facility improvement projects to ensure safe, secure, and efficient work environments. The Director manages facility budgets, asset lifecycle planning, and cross-functional project execution while overseeing internal teams and external vendors, consultants, architects, and contractors. Additionally, the role provides leadership for facility planning related to new buildings, expansions, and remodels, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with organizational objectives. The position is accountable for developing high-performing teams through effective hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
A Day in the Life
- Develop strategic plan for the cohesive management of all corporate offices and distribution centers
- Develop expense and capital budgets and manage performance on a weekly basis
- Strategic planning to address corporate space needs across the organization
- Source, evaluate, hire and manage 3rd party vendors, consultants, architects and contractors
- Oversight of implemented 5-year critical systems maintenance plan for all locations
- Initiate and facilitate change management processes for corporate workplace environments
- Create business cases and financial analyses for projects and initiatives
- Initiate plan for RFP’s, bids and engage Procurement to negotiate favorable terms and pricing to reduce cost per transaction
- Be SME for critical systems insight for new DC and corporate projects
- Oversee the department financial process in conjunction with finance team, including vendor onboarding, contract execution, PO creation and invoice processing.
- Employ continuous improvement strategies to create best practices for the planning, construction, renovation, maintenance and repair of corporate buildings
- Perform special projects as needed
You'll Come With
- Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 15 years of corporate facility experience and 10 years in a management role.
- College Degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline required.
- Possess in-depth technical understanding of trades involved with new buildings and remodels, preventative maintenance and repairs
- Possess exceptional project management skills and hands on management style
- Ability to balance and prioritize competing demands, lead a team and make decisions.
- Ability to interact with and influence individuals at all levels of the organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization and follow-up skills.·
- Possess a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Facilities software (Service Channel) and Oracle financial programs knowledge a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods in a cubicle environment and stand in/walk through large buildings
- Ability to physically access assets such as roof top HVAC units, electrical rooms, etc.
- Ability to communicate via phone
- Typing/keyboarding 30 wpm (minimum)
- Lifting 10 lbs
- Must be capable of sending/receiving/reading/responding to emails
- Travel requirements 10%

Individual pay decisions will be based on a variety of factors, such as but not limited to, qualifications, education, job-related skills, relevant experience, and geographic location.
Compensation Range: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00
