Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 3100 E FLETCHER AVE City: TAMPA State: Florida Postal Code: 33613 Job Description:
Schedules and coordinates staffing for the department. Assists Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and other Physicians in the Imaging department. Monitors departmental efficiency and oversees quality control and assurance programs. Ensures employee safety, attends safety/loss-control trainings, and engages in injury prevention. Performs accident and injury investigations, including conducting root cause analyses. Participates in completing patient safety initiatives and developing protocols approved by radiologists. Organizes and leads department meetings, ensuring relevant content is covered. Assists with budget management by monitoring productivity and department expenses. Promotes blameless reporting of errors and near misses, utilizing information to educate team members and support a culture of safety. Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations. Fosters a culture of psychological safety, where the team members feel supported, valued, empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully. Promotes evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning Prepares the unit for audits and surveys, by monitoring and maintaining unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, hospital policies while coordinating staff education to maintain competencies and preparedness. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Vascular Interventional knowledge and skills required upon hire
- Proficiency in acute-care nursing required upon hire
- Demonstrates proficiency while working effectively with an interdisciplinary team. Must be a self-starter and consistently demonstrate initiative when encountering obstacles
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- N/A
Work Experience:
- 2+ experience in hemodynamic monitoring upon hire [Required]
- 2+ hospital /icu experience [Required]

- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range:
$34.32 - $63.84 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
