Regional Accounts Receivable Manager

Salary: $85,000–$95,000/Year + Bonus

Travel Required within Connecticut| Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Ready to take your healthcare Accounts Receivable expertise on the road and make a real impact across multiple facilities?

We’re looking for an experienced Regional Accounts Receivable Manager to provide leadership, guidance, and hands-on support to business office teams across care-managed facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LTC/SNF revenue cycle professional who enjoys improving processes, mentoring teams, conducting audits, and keeping AR and collections on track.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and collections functions across multiple long-term care/SNF facilities.

  • Conduct monthly AR reviews, identify trends and systemic issues, and communicate significant findings to the VP of Revenue Cycle Management.

  • Train, coach, and provide ongoing support to Business Office staff.

  • Step in and provide backup coverage during Business Office vacancies.

  • Conduct Resident Trust and Corporate Compliance audits.

  • Monitor collection processes and work to maintain or reduce write-off levels.

  • Track and follow up on T-19 pending/status items with facilities on a monthly basis.

  • Audit and review standardized AR and tracking systems.

  • Attend facility Social Security audits and assist with HMS audit data.

  • Partner with facility leadership and internal teams to identify opportunities for improved billing, collections, and revenue cycle performance.

  • Manage multiple priorities while working independently and making sound business decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in an LTC/SNF environment.

  • Strong background in Accounts Receivable and Medicare/Medicaid billing.

  • Solid understanding of healthcare operations and billing practices.

  • Experience training, supporting, or providing guidance to Business Office teams.

  • Strong auditing, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with professionals across different disciplines.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Internet-based systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively — up to 85% of the time to 3 sites in CT.
