The Opportunity

The Financial Consultant is responsible for providing comprehensive financial support for clients by managing billing, financial reporting and analysis, data integrity, reconciliations, audits and process documentation, while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support client implementations, renewals, and operational excellence across Regional Market. Regional Market provides global benefits sales and solutions to US Based employers with 100 - 4,999 employees.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute in a highly analytical capacity while effectively communicating and presenting billing-related information and cultivating strong relationships with both internal and external clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial support for Regional Market clients, including financial reporting, data analysis, and trend monitoring.
  • Oversee client billing operations, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate reconciliation, revenue projections, data integrity, and monitoring of key financial metrics.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely billing processes and support client account audits and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Review, document, and improve financial processes while supporting internal audit requirements and compliance efforts.
  • Provide financial support for new client implementations, product expansions, and client-facing implementation meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare financial data for renewals and underwriting, stay informed on industry trends, and contribute to cross-functional projects that drive operational effectiveness and business initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Accounting/math problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, analytical thinking, and decisiveness
  • Strong project management skills including problem-solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and decisiveness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel, along with AI enabled tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously or with others and effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Firm knowledge of group products, services, systems, and ability to apply analytical skills to the interaction of these products, services, and systems
  • General understanding of U.S. economy and employee benefits industry

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

The expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
