Full job description
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking licensed Compounding Pharmacists for a full-time contract opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in Wisconsin. We currently have one opening available for experienced pharmacists interested in a contract assignment with the potential for extension.
Schedule
-
Evening Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
-
Monday through Friday
-
Occasional Saturdays may be required
-
40 hours per week
Responsibilities
-
Review and dispense prescribed medications
-
Compound medications in accordance with pharmacy regulations and best practices
-
Prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products
-
Monitor medication safety, compliance, and potential drug interactions
-
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
-
Provide medication counseling and patient education
-
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory
-
Support pharmacy operations and supervise pharmacy support personnel as needed
Qualifications
-
Active Wisconsin Pharmacist (RPh) License
-
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
-
Compounding experience required
-
Sterile compounding experience strongly preferred
-
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
