Description

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Front Office Specialist to join our team at Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients in polite, prompt, and helpful manner. Provides any necessary instructions or directions.• Verifies and updates patient demographics, insurance, at every visit.• Collect co-payment and past due balances at the time of service.• Post all payments, and key billing information into the computer system; research as needed.• Assists patients in completing all necessary forms, answers patient questions and concerns.• Responsible for managing petty cash, bank deposits, and posting daily batches.• Verify appointment referrals and pre-certs prior to patient arrival.• Answer incoming calls, referring calls to physicians or triage nurses as needed. Schedule appointments.• Distribute the incoming mail to the appropriate person or designated area to be processed.• Maintain neat and organized front office and lobby areas.• Performs other responsibilities, duties, or tasks as assigned by the Manager/Administrator. Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent• Bilingual Preferred but not required• Some healthcare experience preferred but not required • 2 years of customer service experience • Working knowledge of eCW system preferred Why Choose Us?
