Join Morehead State University
Morehead State University is seeking a Coordinator, Student Development and Family Engagement to join the Office, Dean of Students team. The anticipated start date is November 2, 2026.

About the Position
-
The Coordinator, Student Development and Family Engagement serves as a key point of connection between students, their families, and the University. The position promotes student success, persistence, and well-being by helping students navigate challenges, responding to student concerns, supporting families, and administering student conduct processes.

The coordinator combines family engagement, student support, early intervention, and conduct responsibilities into one integrated role. The position serves as a knowledgeable and accessible resource for students and families while maintaining appropriate boundaries related to student privacy and student autonomy.

The Coordinator will work collaboratively with Academic Affairs, Student Housing, Counseling and Health Services, Accessibility Services, Athletics, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, University Police, and other University offices to connect students with appropriate resources and interventions.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum one year of full-time experience, preferably in a residential college setting.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred but are not required:

Master's degree in Student Affairs or a Juris Doctorate.

Prior experience in student conduct administration.
-
Prior experience with student conduct databases.
