Position Summary:
The Creative Account Executive bridges Marketing stakeholders and the Creative Services/Design teams, translating marketing objectives into clear, actionable creative briefs. Reporting to the Creative Online Marketing Manager, Creative Services, this role ensures alignment with brand standards, campaign strategy, and business goals across every project.
The role owns intake and briefing for assigned campaigns, partnering with Marketing, CRM, Acquisition, Events, VIP, Product, Compliance, and external agencies to gather all necessary information upfront.
Throughout the creative lifecycle, this role acts as campaign steward, reviewing work against the brief, flagging gaps, and confirming deliverables meet approved standards before final sign-off and delivery.
Rather than directing creative execution, the Account Executive drives clarity and efficiency, reducing revisions and setting each project up for success before it enters and leaves Creative Services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
Creative Intake & Brief Development

Serve as the first point of contact for assigned marketing initiatives.

Partner with stakeholders to gather complete project requirements

Develop, refine, and validate creative briefs before work is assigned to the Creative Design team
-
Ensure campaign objectives, target audience, messaging, deliverables, timelines, jurisdictions, compliance requirements, and success metrics are clearly documented
-
Identify missing information and proactively resolve ambiguities prior to creative kickoff.
Campaign Strategy Alignment
-
Translate business and marketing objectives into actionable creative direction.

Ensure campaign strategy remains consistent across CRM, Paid Social, DSP, Organic Social, Events, VIP, Property Marketing, and other marketing channels.

Partner with Marketing teams to ensure briefs support omnichannel execution while maintaining a cohesive customer experience
Creative Review & Strategic Quality Assurance

Review creative throughout the development process to ensure work aligns with the approved brief and marketing objectives.

Provide strategic feedback focused on messaging, campaign intent, channel appropriateness, customer experience, and stakeholder expectations.

Identify opportunities for stronger storytelling, improved clarity, or greater campaign effectiveness before stakeholder review.

Collaborate closely with the Creative Design leadership team while respecting their ownership of creative execution and design quality.
Creative Services Governance

Working alongside the Senior Manager, Creative Services, this role helps to uphold

Creative Services governance throughout the organization by:
-
Ensuring Creative Services remains the strategic owner of campaign intake and briefing.
-
Validating that creative accurately reflects the approved strategy before stakeholder presentation.
-
Helping maintain consistency across campaigns, brands, and jurisdictions.
-
Supporting established workflows, approval processes, and creative best practices
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Works closely with Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment Corporate Compliance to ensure online policies and procedures are in alinement
-
Performs other duties, as assigned
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field (or equivalent experience may be considered)
-
4 to 6 years of experience in account management, project management, or creative operations, ideally within an in-house creative team, agency, or marketing organization
-
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects/campaigns from intake through delivery
-
Strong understanding of the creative development process (briefing, concepting, design, revisions, approvals)
-
Excellent written skills, with the ability to translate marketing objectives into clear, actionable creative briefs
-
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across Marketing, CRM, Compliance, Product, and external agency partners
-
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
-
Ability to evaluate creative work objectively against brief and brand standards (without directing creative execution)
-
Skilled in providing and accepting constructive feedback with diplomacy and respect across diverse teams and seniority levels
-
Intermediate knowledge Microsoft Suite products and applications
