Job Description

Manager (Developer) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to design, develop, test, and implement software applications and client-specific system solutions. Serve as technical lead across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support. Analyze user requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable application designs. Develop and modify application code; create data models, workflows, and integration solutions. Evaluate system feasibility within time and cost constraints; identify and resolve technical and operational issues; optimize application performance and reliability. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Job Specification

Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Information Technology, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Information Technology, or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate IT experience. Must have one (1) year of technical IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets:

  1. AEM configurations, Shell Scripting, and Jenkins;

  2. COBOL, JCL, and Mainframe; OR

  3. SQL Server, Power BI, and MicroStrategy OLAP Services or Microsoft .Net Framework.

All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $153,317.00 - $192,460.00

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may vary but will not be less than of the posted range minimum and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
