Job Purpose & Scope
This position is responsible for creative direction by assisting with the development of strategies and monitoring the performance of creative teams. This role will manage a range of activities, from design inception to layout and production, for a wide variety of graphic art, print, and digital assignments, to include a variety of media to communicate our brand, business, policies, and processes.
Essential Job Functions

Supports leadership by assisting with the development of strategies and monitoring the performance of the creative teams.

Oversees a creative team by providing guidance and project management on various campaigns/projects.
-
Directs creative teams to help overcome obstacles and work closely with the leadership to offer creative solutions.

Mentors creative team and third-party partners to ensure consistency and continuous improvement of the Bank’s objectives.

Directly supervises team members(s) to produce high-quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
-
Designs print and digital materials that uphold the Bank’s brand and inspire people to take action and engage with the content.

Develops and provides recommendations to content that enhances assigned objectives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Focuses on both conception and execution of ideas to accomplish business objectives.

Maintains effective working relationships with internal and external collaborators to ensure deliverables are produced on time and meet standards.

Manages multiple design projects to support assigned objectives and corporate communications.
-
Develops presentations to share and promote creative concepts to senior management.
-
Displays and encourages enthusiasm for continuous learning, scanning and marketplace and leveraging best practices from within and outside industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience in managing and supervising a creative team and product

Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and digital design.

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to lead direct reports through goal setting, delegation, coaching, performance management, and career development.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to work without close supervision.

Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to demonstrate excellent and effective customer service skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in arts, graphic design, or relevant field, required.

Five (5) or more years’ experience in graphic design, required.
-
One (1) or more years’ experience in a managerial role, required.

Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects, preferred.
