Join UPMC Trinity's Anesthesia Team

UPMC Trinity is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our collaborative anesthesia team. This full-time opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with rotating weekend call coverage.

As a CRNA at UPMC Trinity, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings. You will work alongside anesthesiologists, surgeons, and proceduralists to provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after procedures. This position offers exposure to a broad range of cases.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and accurately interpret clinical findings.

  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans in collaboration with anesthesiologists and proceduralists.

  • Administer anesthesia in accordance with established clinical privileges and regulatory standards.

  • Select, apply, and manage appropriate invasive and noninvasive monitoring techniques.

  • Administer medications, adjunct drugs, blood products, and fluids necessary for anesthetic management.

  • Manage patient airway, ventilation, and pulmonary status.

  • Conduct post-anesthesia evaluations and ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and Nurse Anesthesia.

  • Current licensure with the State of Ohio Board of Nursing with Certificate of Authority and Certification with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

  • Advanced experience in the administration of anesthesia is desirable.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Advance Cardiac Life support and Neonatal Advanced Life Support

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

  • Registered Nurse (RN)

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
