Position Summary Field Sales Representative

Overview:

Aetna, CVS Health is looking for top field sales talent in Dade County, Palm Beach County and Broward County, South Florida! The Field Sales Representative is directly responsible for managing sales growth by building a book of business leveraging field sales marketing activity, through in-home and community-based sales efforts. This role is ideal for candidates who are energetic, empathetic, and looking to become part of a growing business segment, selling our competitive portfolio of Medicare products. Upon acquisition the Field Sales Representative will own the member relationship throughout the year and will be the primary contact for member inquiries, including but not limited to, any questions related to plan benefits, product, and services offerings, as well as resolving any issues with respect to the utilization of the product. The position will be a part of a high performing team with strong emphasis on personal and professional development and career growth.

Job Description Summary Job Responsibilities: Prepares and analyzes sales forecasts and results reports and presentations, including analyses of variances vs. budget forecasts. Supports periodic sales revenue target setting and forecasting and may conduct research to estimate market demand. Supports sales teams in preparing and evaluating deal scenarios and contract terms. Collaborates with sales, IT and finance to develop, create and maintain reporting requirements and ensure that the revenue recognition and forecasting systems provide accurate and timely data. May track sales vs. quota information to determine commissions.

What you will do

  • Builds and maintains client relationships to ensure professional rapport is built and organizational policies and procedures are followed throughout the work area.

  • Promotes Sales products and services offered by the organization to ensure the company's growth, providing summarizations to management of Sales progress and critical wins.

  • Analyzes market trend data to identify and effectively apply innovative Sales opportunities supporting the organization's continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Develops and implements Sales strategies, delivering presentations to stakeholders, senior management, and individual contributors, illustrating key wins and Sales contract awards.

  • Collaborates with internal teams facilitating team meetings and training sessions to progress continuous selling improvement and skills development, ensuring organizational goals and critical deliverables are at the forefront.

  • Provides product and service education and training, ensuring the team complies with established company policies and procedures.

  • Manages customer accounts and relations and resolves issues promptly and thoroughly to ensure work area compliance and consistently high service levels.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and targets, ensuring organizational growth and continuous improvement initiatives are at the forefront.

  • Communicates with internal team members, senior management, and senior individual contributors regarding established goals and critical deliverables for the area to ensure continuous improvement and industry advancement.

For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years work experience

  • Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills

  • Acquisition of new members via engagement in community event activity to generate leads and referrals

  • Assessing customer needs for products and services using insightful, probing questions, and demonstrating superior listening skills

  • Servicing of existing members and inquiries related to utilization of their product, benefits, etc.

  • Cross selling ancillary products as well as any other applicable products to existing members

  • Retention of existing members

  • Maintaining knowledge levels with respect to CMS and states regulations

  • Ability to multitask, and effectively use computer while interacting with prospects and members via phone

  • Ensuring that the relevant information is captured in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)

Accountabilities:

  • Meeting sales goals, conversion rates, and cross sell rates for acquisition of new members as outlined in the annual performance plan.

  • Contacting prospective members within the time limit outlined in the annual performance plan.

  • Achieving the member retention rate as outlined in the annual performance plan.

  • Highest levels of member satisfaction as measured by various member surveys and member retention rate.

  • Expert level understanding of products, services, and processes offered by the company.

  • Ability to pass on an annual basis:

  • American Health Insurance Plans (AHIP)

  • Continued Education (CE’s)

  • Product Certification

  • Required Security and Compliance

  • Client/Carrier Certifications

  • Any required CMS Certifications

Preferred Qualifications Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree or 1 to 2 years consumer sales experience (Prior Medicare sales experience is preferred but not required)

  • Life & Health insurance license is not required to be employed. It is required to obtain the license within 60 days from the employment start date

  • Active use of computer for carrying out daily job activities

  • Ability to multi-task while talking on the phone

  • Excellent communication and listening skills

  • Self-starter with positive attitude

  • Adaptable to high pressure, achievement-oriented environment

  • Drive to build, manage, and grow a book of business and become successful entrepreneur

  • High level of computer proficiency including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office package

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$51,686.00 - $101,286.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
