Role OverviewDepartment: Insights & Analytics | Reports To: Manager The Senior Associate will provide integral support to our ongoing client projects by transforming APLD and combining formulary/coverage datasets into actionable payer, IDN, and GPO insights that inform access strategy, pull-through execution, and account planning. Connect coverage status, medical policies, and purchasing influence across plans, PBMs, IDNs, and GPOs to quantify opportunity, risk, and expected business impact. A successful candidate should have experience in the biopharma and/or healthcare industry, a background in data analysis and managing data integration projects, a proactive mindset, and a demonstrated track record of generating impactful insights for clients. The candidate should be capable of building data pipelines and Business Intelligence reports on Data Lake architecture combining several data sets to enable univariate and multivariate analysis. This includes data integration, harmonization and transforming raw data into curated datasets for Data / BI Analytics. On the tools side, the successful candidate should possess a strong background in a complex data processing environment using SQL platforms (Redshift, Athena, Snowflake etc.), Python/Jupyter Notebooks (SageMaker etc.) and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, QuickSight. Key Responsibilities • Ingest, clean, and harmonize anonymized patient-level data to map longitudinal treatment journeys, initiation, adherence, persistence, and switching to isolate access barriers and opportunity segments.

  • Integrate MMIT formulary status, restriction types, prior authorization, step edits, and covered lives data to produce payer and channel scorecards by line of business and geography.
  • Build IDN and GPO opportunity maps to illuminate influence pathways, member alignment, and contracting leverage for pull-through planning and target lists.
  • Quantify policy and coverage differences across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid to prioritize evidence and engagement tactics for value and access.
  • Produce pre-reads and executive summaries that synthesize APLD and access coverage insights and account structures into concise, decision-oriented narratives.
  • Analyse new requests for data, identifying the appropriate datasets, and generating database queries and summary data outputs for stakeholders.
  • Provide findings and final recommendations to clients via written communication and formal presentations.
  • Understand client business issues, operating business rules, data and standard operating procedures.

What You BringEducation: Bachelor's or Master's degree required in any discipline with a strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic coursework such as finance, applied mathematics, management science, data science, statistics, econometrics or engineering. Experience: 3-5 years of previous experience working with key pharmaceutical/biotechnology data sets like Claims, Payer Coverage and other secondary data. Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with data processing, data analysis, profiling, data cleansing and standardization processes.
  • Build data stories and visualizations using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI or QuickSight.
  • Advanced SQL and analytical skills to query databases and perform data analysis to further enhance business analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues to accomplish team goals and deadlines.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to build / elevate internal capabilities; ability to adapt quickly in a constantly changing environment.
