LPN Clinic - Pulmonary Disease

As an LPN on our team, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. This role provides the opportunity to expand your nursing skills through hands-on clinical experience, ongoing education, and professional development while making a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of patients across the lifespan.

A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.

• Administer medication.

• Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records and files.

• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.

• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.

• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.

• Follow Code Blue protocol.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of Accredited LPN program

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Certification

• Knowledge of infection control practices

• Computer literacy

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of clinical experience

• Med/Surg & telemetry experience

• Urgent care experience

• One year of experience in outpatient setting
