Full job description
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for stack-dish cooler with refrigerant medium for electric vehicle heat pump system, specifically as chiller, liquid coolant condenser (LCC) and inter heat exchange (IHX), design to cost and function, including verifications.

Establishing the programs and processes for new product development including interacting with customers to define product needs; investigating new concept potential with respect to manufacturing, cost and marketability; evaluating product designs; building prototypes samples; conducting product testing.

Responsible for meeting customer’s build schedules and all quantity, quality and delivery targets of prototype products.

Coordinating the projects with program management function and sales department to achieve customer satisfactions.

Participate in QOS, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 activities, including customer audits.

Developing improvement plans for product capability.

Teaming with production and quality management teams for continuous improvements

Problem solving/process troubleshooting.

Know information security management system and requirements.

Protect the information assets of this position.

Other tasks as directed by the manager.
Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical / Vehicle Engineering or similar

Progressively responsible engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive company or powertrain company. At least 5 years of working experience

At least 3 years’ experience for refrigerant stack-dish cooler, strong background for refrigerant heat exchangers is mandatory.

Modeling and sizing components under Amesim or Matlab will be plus.

Computer literacy. Proficient with Auto CAD/Pro_E for design, and with MS Office, MS project to support the work.

Tracking record demonstrating success in teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP are assets, Familiar with IATF 16949.

Good oral and written communication skills in English.
