Employment Type: Full timeShift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Of New England Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology
Tech Aide to join our high-performing IR team at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. If you're looking for a collaborative environment, advanced technology, and a mission-driven culture focused on exceptional patient care, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role As an IR Tech Aide, you will play an important support role in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care within the Interventional Radiology department. You will work closely with technologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure patients, procedure rooms, and supplies are prepared and readily available for a wide range of interventional procedures.
What You'll Do
- Support patient positioning and comfort measures while maintaining patient dignity and privacy.
- Prepare procedure rooms by stocking supplies, setting up equipment, and ensuring rooms are ready for scheduled cases.
- Assist with room turnover between procedures to maintain workflow efficiency and support patient throughput.
- Clean and disinfect equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in accordance with infection prevention and departmental standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of procedural supplies and equipment.
- Restock procedure rooms, supply carts, and storage areas to ensure availability of required materials.
- Receive, organize, and rotate stock while removing expired supplies as appropriate.
- Assist with supply ordering and inventory tracking utilizing department inventory management systems.
- Transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and other materials throughout the department as needed.
- Perform clerical and workflow-related tasks to support department operations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other team members to promote a safe and organized patient care environment.

What We're Looking For Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn new procedures and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Demonstrates professionalism and the ability to establish positive relationships with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Certifications
- Current CPR certification required.
