Full job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an EHS Administrative Coordinatorto join a leading Company located inCleveland, OH.

Pay Rate Range: $20 - $22 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift Mon - Fri

The EHS Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and organizational support to the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) department. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, entering and organizing data, managing documentation, and supporting the department with day-to-day administrative activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with confidential and safety-related information, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for EHS records, reports, databases, and tracking systems.

  • Maintain, organize, and update electronic and hard-copy EHS files and documentation.

  • File and retrieve safety, environmental, training, inspection, incident, and compliance records as needed.

  • Organize information to ensure EHS documentation is easily accessible and maintained in accordance with company requirements.

  • Maintain spreadsheets, tracking logs, and databases related to EHS activities.

  • Assist with tracking employee training, certifications, inspections, audits, corrective actions, and other EHS-related requirements.

  • Prepare, organize, and distribute EHS forms, reports, communications, and other documentation.

  • Assist EHS personnel with compiling information and preparing reports, presentations, and meeting materials.

  • Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency and follow up on missing information when necessary .

  • Maintain organized electronic folders and shared drives, ensuring documents are properly named, stored, and retained.

  • Assist with maintaining safety bulletin boards, employee communication materials, and EHS resources.

  • Support scheduling of EHS meetings, training, inspections, and other department activities.

  • Assist with maintaining records related to regulatory and company EHS requirements.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

  • Provide general administrative support to the EHS department as needed.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

  • 2 years experience in secretarial/office management or similar.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to learn other software programs as required.

  • Background in executive secretarial area and/or office management.

  • Strong time management and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manual .
