Full job description

Description

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

As the SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Functional, you design end-to-end warehouse solutions, enhance, and support EWM focused on process design and solution architecture. You integrate with SAP PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to deliver cohesive warehouse processes across production, procurement, and distribution. You collaborate with product managers, customers, and stakeholders across the organization to develop standard process designs. These systems drive scalability and cost-effective warehousing for satellite and ground gateway terminal manufacturing. To succeed you must be highly motivated, detail oriented, and an effective communicator with strong analytical skills.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and maintain the warehouse management roadmap with product managers, customers, and stakeholders across the organization

Design, configure, test, deploy, and support SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions covering inbound, outbound, internal movements, putaway, picking, packing, staging, replenishment, VAS (Value Added Services), quality inspections, and inventory management

Perform fit/gap assessments, feasibility studies, and design reviews to finalize functional specifications

Lead process mapping, value stream analysis, and gap identification; implement process improvements and mitigation strategies for warehouse and logistics challenges

Possess strong understanding of integration points between EWM and SAP PP, QM, MM, SD (Sales & Distribution), MES, GTS (Global Trade Services), TM (Transportation Management), IBP (Integrated Business Planning), and MDG (Master Data Governance)

Drive process standardization, solution templates, and integration patterns across multiple facilities, business units, or geographies

Manage sprint planning, deployment, and define success metrics, product adoption KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and process efficiency measures

Configure, test, and support implementation for all SAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) areas

Monitor warehouse processes and integrations for failures; drive corrective actions and conduct regular system reviews with findings and recommendations

Provide guidance, training, and support to end users, project teams, and junior consultants on warehouse processes

You work with developers and consulting partners to solution, prioritize, and deliver projects to completion while maintaining alignment with SAP best practices and the long-term product roadmap.
