Senior Business Analyst

Description We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to strengthen reporting, analytics, and data quality efforts across the organization in Farmers Branch, Texas. This role will work closely with operational and functional leaders to turn business needs into practical insights, dependable metrics, and effective dashboard solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, hands-on reporting expertise, and the ability to improve data consistency across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the ongoing management of enterprise data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across core business applications and reporting environments.

• Develop and refine dashboards, recurring reports, and analytical tools that help teams evaluate performance, support planning, and guide growth strategies.

• Collaborate with department leaders and site stakeholders to understand reporting objectives and convert business questions into clear, usable data solutions.

• Retrieve, combine, and maintain information from various business systems to meet cross-functional analysis and reporting needs.

• Partner with data and system stakeholders to uphold governance practices, including standard definitions, validation methods, and reporting consistency controls.

• Investigate data issues, identify underlying causes of discrepancies, and coordinate with system owners to resolve gaps or inconsistencies.

• Prepare clear documentation for reporting requests, data relationships, process workflows, and enhancement initiatives.

• Track key performance indicators and business trends, highlighting risks, patterns, and improvement opportunities for leadership.

• Support monthly and periodic reporting deadlines by delivering validated data outputs on schedule. Requirements • Proven experience in business analysis with a strong focus on reporting, metrics, and data-driven decision support.

• Hands-on proficiency with SQL for querying, extracting, and validating data from multiple sources.

• Advanced experience building dashboards and visual reports using Power BI; Tableau experience is also valuable.

• Ability to perform gap analysis and translate business needs into structured reporting or analytics solutions.

• Strong understanding of data quality practices, governance principles, and validation techniques.

• Experience working across multiple systems and partnering with cross-functional teams to solve reporting challenges.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document requirements and explain findings clearly.
