Billing Analyst - Telecom

Employment Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: $26.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience

The Opportunity

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Telecom Billing Analyst for a temporary opportunity with our client in Rapid City, South Dakota, through February 2027. Large company good foot in the door and opportunity to get hired.

This position is primarily focused on telecom billing, invoice processing, payment coordination, and vendor account management. The ideal candidate has strong billing or accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple invoices and resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Process, review, and approve wireless, network, and telecommunications invoices within the Telecom Expense Management (TEM) system.

  • Prepare weekly invoice batch reports for payment processing through Accounts Payable.

  • Review telecom invoices for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and work directly with vendors to resolve billing disputes.

  • Coordinate with telecom vendors and Accounts Payable regarding invoice payments and billing issues.

  • Generate reports related to telecom expenses and invoice payments.

  • Monitor invoice status and conduct periodic reviews to ensure all invoices are current.

  • Track credits and coordinate service disconnects as requested by IT teams.

  • Maintain accurate invoice records by scanning and uploading documentation into the company's file management system.

  • Update employee information, including transfers, supervisors, locations, and account coding within the TEM system.

  • Assist with new vendor setup and approval processes.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least 2 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, telecom, or information technology.

  • Strong data entry, invoice processing, and payment reconciliation skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with vendors and internal departments.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Familiarity with telecommunications billing, wireless services, or Telecom Expense Management (TEM) systems is a plus.
