Full job description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Software Quality Engineer will lead software quality engineering efforts across finance platforms and complex enterprise systems. This role is responsible for defining comprehensive test strategies, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions. The Senior Software Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional partners while mentoring Quality Engineers and promoting quality best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement comprehensive software quality strategies, test plans, and testing approaches.
  • Perform and lead advanced testing activities, including functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks and solutions.
  • Lead defect triage sessions and drive root cause analysis to support timely issue resolution.
  • Partner with engineering teams to strengthen built-in quality and improve testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Quality Engineers.
  • Promote quality engineering standards, processes, and best practices across teams.

​ Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Proven experience leading and facilitating testing activities and sessions.
  • Advanced experience with test automation and quality engineering tools, including Selenium and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Experience working with Workday applications and integrations.
  • Experience with finance business processes, including:
  • Invoice-to-Cash (I2C)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)

On-site presence is required only when necessary, such as for meetings, trainings, or collaborative activities, in alignment with the company’s telework agreement, which currently requires employees to work on-site three (3) days per week)
