DSHS FTAA IT Project Management Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Management Manager to join our team at the Finance, Technology, Analytics, and Accounting Administration (FTAA) and Division of Enterprise Technology (DIT). Specifically, you will be the Electronics Health Records (EHR) Project Manager - where you will be the subject matter expert on EHR and ensure successful development from start to finish. In this role you will be accountable for quality and completion of product and product-related projects, tasks, campaigns and initiatives. You will also lead, manage and support a team of Epic App Analysts, Business Analysts, and Revenue analysts within the Health Care Management and Coordination Systems (HCMACS) organizational structure to ensure quality and timeliness.

Some of what you will do:

• Lead and direct a large scrum team

• Develops, articulates, and prioritizes features, stories, epics and themes

• Leads all stages of development through active participation in each phase of the product

• Identify product issues and work to triage, escalate, and resolve

• Streamline and lead the transformation of the staff and consumer experience for DSHS, addressing regulatory and/or legislative policy requests

• Manage the Product Roadmap for the DSHS in alignment with HCMACS

• Lead DSHS collaboration efforts to align with the HCMACS and other agencies to determine priorities and activities

• Conduct performance reviews, direct employee work, and support team growth for individuals that this job supervises

• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of six product/project staff, ensuring their professional development and effective performance

• Foster a collaborative culture

Who should apply? Those with twelve years progressively responsible experience, with statewide authority and impact, consulting with and providing expert level advice to organization leadership regarding the administration of health record management and administration. This includes developing and implementing state policies and operational procedures which are informed by state and federal policies and regulations. Two years of experience within the last three years with DIT systems, particularly ACES, eJAS, Barcode, and Washington Connection.

AND

At least three years of the aforementioned professional experience should include experience serving in the role of IT Project Manager, leading a scrum team in product development using Agile principles and process, or analysis of technical and functional specifications and design, and the gathering and documentation of business requirements for system change requests.

• Progressively responsible experience in developing measurable goals and targets, and monitoring product performance and progress

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint
