We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.

The Role

Xylem is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support the efficient movement of goods across domestic and global supply chains. In this role, you will coordinate transportation activities, support import/export documentation, and help ensure compliance with trade regulations and internal policies. You will work closely with sourcing, planning, manufacturing, customer service, brokers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to drive on-time delivery, cost-effective transportation execution, and regulatory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys operating at the intersection of transportation, customer service, analytics, and trade compliance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day execution of domestic and international shipments by partnering with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal teams.

  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export documentation, and customs-related records.

  • Help ensure compliance with import/export regulations, trade requirements, recordkeeping standards, and internal company policies.

  • Review shipment-related data for accuracy, including product classifications, country of origin, valuation information, and other data used in transportation and customs processes.

  • Track shipments and proactively communicate delivery risks, delays, exceptions, and recovery plans to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support freight cost control through routing adherence, carrier coordination, invoice review, and identification of cost-saving opportunities.

  • Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, planning, procurement, customer service, and manufacturing teams to resolve logistics issues and improve operational execution.

  • Maintain logistics metrics and reporting related to transportation performance, on-time delivery, freight spend, and compliance activities.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen transportation processes, visibility, standard work, and trade compliance controls.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

  • Experience in domestic transportation, international shipping, logistics operations, or trade compliance.

  • Working knowledge of import/export documentation and transportation processes.

  • Experience with ERP systems, transportation management systems, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and follow-through.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of customs processes, HTS classification, country of origin requirements, Incoterms, and broker/carrier coordination.

  • Experience supporting compliance audits or regulatory recordkeeping requirements.

  • Experience with freight spend analysis, KPI reporting, or logistics process improvement initiatives.
