We are seeking a Certification Specialist to join our team in Detroit, MI who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and thrives within a deadline driven schedule. Certification Specialists are responsible for agency reporting, processing move-ins and recertification's, sending out notices, monitoring resident accounts, and more. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver with strong time management skills and a positive attitude.
You Have:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
-
Experience with low income housing, specifically HUD Section 8 and/or LIHTC
-
Experience with Onesite Property management software or similar
-
Demonstrated knowledge of HUD and LIHTC program regulations, up to and including HOTMA
-
Current Compliance certification preferred
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Exceptional organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently
