Full job description

Guac is building the AI platform for grocery. We started with forecasting and replenishment, helping grocery retailers order and produce the perfect amount of inventory using our proprietary AI forecasting algorithm. Since then, we’ve evolved into the AI-first operating system that powers grocery retail operations. We’re now helping major supermarket chains in the US and Canada process billions of dollars of inventory. We’ve scaled to 7-figures in ARR, and we’ve raised $7.2M from top investors like Y Combinator, 1984 Ventures, and Collaborative Fund. We've brought together an extraordinary team from Palantir, BCG, Oxford, Cambridge, and MIT to solve intellectually challenging problems and tackle food insecurity and waste with technology. We're looking for exceptional people in NYC to join our mission and build the future of grocery. About the Role As a member of the Strategy & Operations team at Guac, you’ll help solve some of the most important problems facing the company, taking end-to-end ownership of goals across product, customer deployments, operations, growth, and new strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Solve complex problems across every part of the company (e.g. product, customer deployments, operations), owning initiatives from problem definition through successful execution.
  • Drive enterprise customer deployments from initial onboarding through long-term adoption, becoming a trusted partner to users and technical/business leaders.
  • Build product alongside customers and Guac’s engineering team, using deep user insights to shape intuitive product experiences.
  • Help shape the future of Guac by identifying, evaluating, and executing on new strategic opportunities across the business.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-performance environment requiring analytical problem-solving, operational rigor, and end-to-end ownership (e.g. fast-growing startup, consulting, finance)
  • Exceptionally high standards for yourself and for your coworkers, and the relentless drive to meet them.
  • Obsessive attention to detail and the follow through to deliver exceptional, reliable work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • (Bonus) Technical background and/or experience working with complex data

What We Offer

  • First-hand experience building an early-stage startup
  • Compensation: $150k–$180k base + competitive equity
  • Fully employer-paid healthcare (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Unlimited vacation days
  • Fully covered food expenses in the office (lunch/dinner)
  • Free Equinox membership
