It’s a great time to be a part of ZOLL!Job SummaryUnder supervision of the Facility Manager is responsible for providing onsite maintenance and repair of building equipment and systems to ensure 24/7 facility access to a clean, safe working environment that supports the ZOLL Corporate MissionEssential Functions

Performs troubleshooting, preventive & corrective maintenance of building equipment and systems on time and in an appropriate manner and documents same utilizing a work order system.

Evaluates equipment performance and recommends improvements to maintenance program and system design.

Assists external service providers/contractors responsible for building equipment and systems when necessary.

Independently applies skills, experience and general knowledge to a wide range of tasks to troubleshoot, adjust, install, repair, replace and maintain equipment or facilities.

Available for and responds to unscheduled, emergency, on-call, after-hour situations to meet the needs of the department, i.e., floods, roof leaks, storm emergencies, etc.

Develops and maintains spare parts inventory.

Orders products supplies and other materials as needed for routine operation of equipment and systems.

Ensures quality of work, provides in-house expertise.

Ability to work independently.

Participates in and successfully completes mandatory education and/or training.

Works on special projects as assigned
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
-
High School Diploma Or equivalent required
-
At least five years of experience in a similar role required and
-
Good working knowledge of building repairs. Safe and efficient use of power and hand tools. required and
-
Experience with JCI Metasys Building management system required and
-
Experience with computers and Microsoft Office required and
-
Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS), Building Management Systems (BMC), or Building Automation Systems (BAS). required and
-
Demonstrated abilities and/or evidence of training in repair, operation, and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment not required but a preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
Prior work experience in a similar role.
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop strong relationships.
-
Should be able to climb a ladder, reach, bend, and lift loads up to 50 lbs. independently, more with assistance.

Valid driver’s license
-
Incumbent will be required to carry a cell phone and to be on-call to support building operations.

Positive attitude and even temperament.

Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff and outside contractors

The hourly pay rate for this position is:
$25.00 to $30.00
