Tutors Needed – Queensbury Union Free School District

Queensbury Union Free School District is currently seeking NYS certified tutors to support students within the district. Sessions may be held on-site or off-site depending on the specific situation.

Starting Pay: $45.65 per hour Location: Queensbury UFSD Certification: NYS Certification required Preferred: Special Education (all certifications welcome to apply)

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction and tutoring services in specific subjects. Tailor lessons to meet each student's learning needs and goals.

  • Monitor and report on student progress. Regularly adjust lesson plans and strategies based on student performance and feedback.

  • Help students with test preparation, homework assignments, and study skills to enhance their academic success.

  • Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on progress and discuss any concerns or additional support needs.
