Chanakya is Sarvam AI's specialised, self-contained vertical for national security and institutions of national importance. It carries its own pricing, business, product, engineering, custom-model and vendor functions under one roof — a complete unit built to solve the most complex problems in the strategic sector: the three armed forces, intelligence agencies, financial regulators, and institutions of national importance such as central ministries and national policy bodies. What we deploy here must be at strategic parity or higher — anything less is a national-security risk. That standard is the reason Chanakya is a small, exceptionally high-performing team inside Sarvam, and the reason we are deliberate about who joins it. Chanakya's functions are being built out now. We are looking for people who will grow into the leaders of these emerging functions — every one of these roles is a route to leading a part of the vertical, not just filling it. Where we are. This is not a leap into the unknown. Chanakya has already achieved product–market fit to a meaningful degree, has significant revenue booked, and has large strategic projects officially underway. Where client-facing instinct meets technical depth — working directly with the founders. For people with a top engineering background (IITs, BITS, US Ivy League, and other leading technical institutes and engineering programs) who went on to top-tier consulting (MBB), and are now looking to make real impact — pre-MBA, choosing to build rather than head to business school. You will bring your client-facing judgement and technical fluency together to shape and drive Chanakya's go-to-market, working closely with the leadership and the founders to get it built. •Strong technical foundation plus sharp commercial and strategic instincts. •Comfortable in the room with senior institutional stakeholders and with our own engineers. •Entrepreneurial temperament — owns outcomes end to end.
