Responsibilities Ensures that the automated dispensing machines (ADMs) are being used efficiently and safely in the provision of pharmaceutical care to the patients as assigned. Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Responsible for successful coordination, implementation and upgrades of pharmacy automation and technical solutions as assigned. Serves as subject matter expert of the product and implementation process for Pharmacy Technology and Automation Systems as assigned. Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice. Functions as needed in duties of a Pharmacy Technician. Qualifications
Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
Work Experience
- 2 years of pharmacy technician practice including experience with the use of automated dispensing machines Required
Licenses and Certifications
-
PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Required

PTCB Certification Preferred
