Department: Sporting KC-Emergency Management

Employment Type: Per Diem

Shift: Variable

Hours: Variable

Location: Providence Medical Center—Kansas City, KS (Sporting KC)

Join the Sporting KC team as a PRN Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of attendees at our exciting soccer events. This position is perfect for dedicated EMTs looking to gain experience in emergency management within a dynamic sporting environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

To move forward in this position, you must have at least 1 year of experience as an EMT or Paramedic

  • Provide emergency medical response and care during Sporting KC soccer events.

  • Conduct assessments of patients' conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans.

  • Deliver prompt first-aid interventions and utilize medical equipment effectively.

  • Collaborate with on-site medical teams, security, and emergency services.

  • Implement emergency management protocols tailored for sporting events.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and reports.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.

  • Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience required.

  • Current and valid state license

  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

  • Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

  • Current PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
