What We Offer

Novant Health Neurology & Sleep - Midtown is seeking a END Technologist!

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, Friday 7:45am-12:00pm

Open to candidates with either EEG or EMG experience. Candidates with limited experience are encouraged to apply, as on-the-job training is available.

The END Technologist performs all department procedures and supervises other technologists as well as assists management in technical accountability of services. Demonstrated competence in at least one additional area of neurodiagnostic: Evoked Potentials to include SSPs, BAERs, and VEPs, Intraoperative Monitoring, Nerve Conduction Studies, SPECT scans, WADAs, LTEM, and Tilt table with video EEGs.

Performs department diagnostic procedures under the supervision of registered staff.

What You'll Do

Job responsibilities include:

  • Perform EEG and EMG studies, with training available for candidates who may have limited experience with either studies

  • Prepare patients for testing, apply electrodes, and conduct high-quality diagnostic studies.

  • Manage a daily caseload of approximately 5 to 6 patients while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

  • Assist with report preparation and documentation to support timely physician interpretation.

What We're Looking For

  • Education:

  • High school diploma required.

  • 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Associate degree from a CAAHEP Program (NH Medical Group Only).

  • Experience: One year of formal or on the job Neurodiagnostic training preferred, preferred.

  • Additional Skills Required:

  • Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age.

  • Has the ability to interpret information to identify patient's requirements for care that are relative to age specific needs.
