About the Role

H&R Block is seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and strategic Manager, Brand Operations & Enablement to help scale and strengthen how our brand is managed across the enterprise. This role is responsible for the systems, processes, tools, governance, and enablement programs that help teams consistently bring the H&R Block brand to life. As a key member of the Brand & Content Strategy team, the Manager will serve as both a brand steward and operational leader—ensuring associates, agencies, and cross-functional partners have the guidance, resources, and support needed to deliver a consistent and compelling brand experience.

In addition to leading brand operations and governance, this individual will support select brand activation efforts, particularly internal engagement programs, cause-related initiatives, and other opportunities that strengthen connections between the H&R Block brand, associates, and communities.

Day to day, you'll...

  • Own the day-to-day management and evolution of H&R Block's brand governance model, ensuring consistent application of brand standards across the enterprise.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, providing guidance on brand standards, messaging, visual identity, and best practices.

  • Monitor marketplace and internal executions to identify opportunities to strengthen brand consistency and effectiveness.

  • Develop and lead programs that educate, equip, and inspire associates to understand and activate the H&R Block brand.

  • Create training materials, workshops, onboarding resources, and self-service tools that increase brand fluency across the organization.

  • Build scalable systems and resources that empower teams to create brand-aligned work more independently and efficiently.

  • Support the development and evolution of brand standards as customer needs, business priorities, and market conditions evolve.

  • Support planning and execution of select brand initiatives

  • Help coordinate internal activation programs that engage associates and build pride, advocacy, and connection to the brand.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, brand operations, integrated marketing, project management, communications, or related fields

  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and priorities

  • Strong understanding of branding principles, governance, and marketing operations

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Demonstrated ability to create structure, improve processes, and drive alignment across teams

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and training capabilities

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise brand programs or governance initiatives

  • Experience developing training, enablement, or change management programs

  • Experience working with cause marketing, community engagement, or ESG-related initiatives

  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, or external partners

  • Familiarity with marketing technology, digital asset management, workflow systems, and AI-enabled marketing tools

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.

Pay Range

$89,800.00 - $134,700.00/Yr.
