Full job description

The Role

As an IT Administrator, you will empower Vendasta’s cloud-native workforce by delivering exceptional technical support, streamlining operations, and driving automation. Operating within the Security & Operations team, you will resolve user issues, manage SaaS and network systems, and leverage AI-powered tools and prompt-based scripting to eliminate repetitive workflows.

Note: Working hours may vary, including evenings and weekends to support on-site events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary responder for help desk tickets (desktop, SaaS, VPN, WiFi, softphones), using manual and AI-assisted troubleshooting.

  • Identify process gaps and automate routine workflows (onboarding/offboarding, license management, password resets) using scripting, AI tools, or low-code platforms.

  • Maintain network, phone, and SaaS infrastructure; contribute to uptime via on-call rotations and monitor threat/security alerts.

  • Create and maintain AI-indexed documentation, decision trees, and internal portal tools to promote user self-resolution.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years in IT support, systems administration, or SaaS management in a cloud-native environment.

  • Strong background in Google Workspace, networking/VPNs, desktop troubleshooting, and softphone systems.

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Zapier, Google Apps Script) or ITSM platforms to automate processes.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a continuous learning mindset, and familiarity with modern DevOps/SRE principles.
