Full job description

DESCRIPTION

Own the simplify-before-migrate mandate for Acosta’s GBS transformation. Lead end-to-end process redesign across all GCC-bound function families. No process is cleared for wave transition without Process Excellence Lead sign-off. Directly conditions value realization and AI/automation program success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process Assessment & Baseline: Lead process maturity assessments across all Wave 1 and Wave 2 in-scope processes (Finance, HR Services, Procurement, IT, Europe SGA). Establish baseline productivity metrics as the value realization baseline.

  • Process Redesign & Standardization: Lead future-state process design for all GCC-bound processes. Apply simplify-first: eliminate non-value-add steps, remove unjustified BU variants, consolidate duplicates before migration. Own the Simplification Scorecard.

  • Migration Readiness Gate (Sign-Off Authority): Define and enforce the Process Migration Readiness Checklist. No process migrates without Process Excellence Lead sign-off. Minimum: L3+ mapped, SOP complete, RACI defined, baseline established, automation flagged, KT package ready.

  • Productivity Improvement: Identify and deliver process-level quick wins with measured pre/post impact. Lead Lean events (kaizen, value stream mapping) for high-complexity processes before migration gate.

  • Future-State Process Design: Own the end-to-end future-state process architecture for GBS at full GCC+AI maturity (18-24 month horizon). Design for the dual-hub model: India, Mexico, retained U.S. team, and BU-embedded roles.

  • Global Process Owner (GPO) Support: Support the design and stand-up of the GPO function from Day 1. Build GPO operating cadence: performance reviews, standardization governance, exception management, and CI pipeline

  • Lead and develop a global team of Process Excellence Analysts focused on driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, standardization, and service delivery excellence across multiple regions and functions.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, process mining, automation, and data-driven methodologies to optimize workflows and accelerate business outcomes.

  • Build organizational capability by coaching analysts and business stakeholders on process improvement methodologies, change management, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications-Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Operations or related field or equivalent years of experience.

  • 8-12 years in process improvement, operational excellence, or GBS/shared services transformation with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; proven quantified productivity improvement track record

  • Experience with process mapping at depth (L3-L4+), variant analysis, and multi-BU standardization

Minimum Qualifications-Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record in GCC or shared services migration applying simplify-before-migrate methodology

  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end process redesign across Finance, HR, or Procurement

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Experience with Process Mining tools (Celonis preferred)

  • Prior GCC setup experience in India or Mexico

  • Familiarity with GPO governance design and operating model frameworks

  • Experience designing automation-ready processes (RPA/AI requirements at design level)

  • CPG, retail, or commercial services industry background preferred
